Yes, I provide telehealth services to adults in West Virginia and Pennsylvania through a HIPAA compliant video platform. For telehealth services, please log in to the patient portal and click "start telehealth".
To ensure confidentiality, you will need to be in a private setting. You will need to be within the West Virginia and/or Pennsylvania state lines. To ensure your safety, please do not be driving. You are required to be fully clothed at all times. To respect your ability to provide informed consent, you are asked to refrain from substance use during sessions.
Unfortunately there is no self-serve feature on the website. On the Contact Form please include your name, contact information, and a brief message regarding what brings you to seek therapy. I will make every effort to get in touch with you by the end of the business day.
You will be prompted to sign a payment authorization form and will need to upload your credit or debit card to the HIPAA compliant patient portal prior to beginning services. Please note that payments need to be made in full by the end of the month. If you need accessibility regarding payments, I encourage you to explore this with me and we will come up with a plan to best accommodate your needs.
As a courtesy to staff and to clients who may be in need of services, please provide 24 business hours advance notice. If you are scheduled for a Monday, please make sure to cancel within 24 hours ahead of time on the previous Friday.
Following two under 24 hour cancellations or no shows, your card will be charged and you will be responsible for paying the full rate of your session. On the 3rd occurrence, we will need to discuss referring to an agency for further assistance.
To ensure compliance with medical billing and insurance companies, you will have a 15 minute grace period. If you are more than 15 minutes late, then you may be considered a no show for the session and will be responsible for paying the full session rate.
You have the option of opting in for reminders via text or email. Please enable these features by visiting the patient portal. Please note that it is your responsibility for managing appointments irrespective of reminders. Please feel free to reach out if you require assistance.
Yes. Clients with insurance who are opting out of using their insurance may reach out to receive a superbill, which is a detailed invoice with CPT codes that they may submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
Under law, health care providers are responsible for ensuring that clients who are not using insurance or are paying out of pocket are provided with a Good Faith Estimate. which is the total estimated cost for non-emergency services. No. On the day of your appointment, please park outside, wait out front, and text via Spruce to maintain your confidentiality. I will then respond letting you know to come in.

HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a US federal law that protects patients' health information from being disclosed and establishes national standards for PHI, or protected health information. You will need to sign a release of information for me to disclose any personal information. Limits to confidentiality include child and elder abuse and/or neglect or if a client is imminently suicidal or homicidal with a plan, intent, and access to means to act.
